One of these
UFOs I had stashed away. Funky Folk Flowers. I took a class at Busy Thimble Quilt shop in 1999 with Susan L. Powell, designer. The only one I have left to do is the center that is a basket of flowers. Four were easier and four with more detail. It is done with freezer paper and needle turn applique. I really enjoy this process even though it takes a little longer.

I like that method too, partly because it does take longer than raw edge and makes me sit down and is so relaxing. I'm doing some English paper piecing right now, just for that reason. Good to stop rushing!!
You will soon have a Funky Folk Flower quilt!
Those blocks are so fun, and you really did a wonderful job on the applique. Keep going! Beautiful picture in your header. Where is Scootic Bay?
