Quilts -

I have not posted in quite a while so am trying to play catch up. I have been lazy this past year. I have been working at downsizing books, music, clothes etc. You know how it is in a big house with lots of space having lived here over 50 years.

I had never made me a quilt so

This was so much fun to make. I made my own

roofs, windows and doors ironed on. 

Houses hand applique and in the ditch .

 "SOUNDS OF MUSIC"

Another gal and I chose different size blocks over a 7 month period. Our purpose was to teach how to put them together. Mine was 42" but they could do any size they liked. They were displayed in our quilt show. 

"BEE BEING"

My design ...Hand drawn flowers...appliqued.

French knots. It was a challenge and put in the state

Could not purchase a kit for a small runner using these fabrics from Connecting Threads because they were sold out. So decided to purchase the country fabric and it just grew.  78"x37"

I had seen similar ones so decided to design my own.

This was a panel and a practice quilt

piece and decided I liked it for my kitchen

that has similar colors. So finished it by putting borders on it!

My Sister Sandra lives in Fl and wanted different size Pot Holders.

I gave it a Maine flavor with oceans...rocks....Puffins.

Enough for now...need to get busy as we head into Fall and Winter Season.
