Judy had a workshop today and we made pin cushions containes from plastic pill containers. You use an 8" circle of material and gather it....hot glue it. Inside you put a plastic cap that you get on water bottles to hold your thimble. It is amazing how much you can carry in it. Great for class or small projects. We thought these looked like colorful ice cream cones.

Pin Cushion containers
Tacoma Quilters met today and below are the 'Duffy bags" that we made a few weeks ago. These are 20x29" and various pockets to carry our rulers. The one on the botton is long because the gal who made it is short and she also wanted to put her mat in it. They are so unique. There are others finished but were absent. This is a pattern that Barb, our president designed.
